WALKING PERFORMANCE AND VIDEO
Five burnt wood walking sticks of different tree species, cotton rope ; 125 cm each.

In the context of its fight against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, France is being put into lockdown for the third time, during 4 weeks. Among the measures taken, the government decided to limit any person's movement to a 10km radius circle around their house.
From april 20 to 25, 2021, my own perimeter "as the crow flies" has been traced as accurately as possible, using five walking sticks, around the town of Altkirch [France]. Each stick was abandoned at the end of the day, marking in the landscape this new border to our freedoms, adrift.
